Who Are We?

ECHO is a faith-based free medical clinic for uninsured, low income individuals. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.

The new clinic for ECHO will be open and ready to serve patients here at 4004 East Van Buren on Thursday evening, January 14.  Previously the clinic was housed in the gymnasium of Faith Christian Family Church.
"At our new clinic we will be operating by appointments," explained Clinic Administrator Suzie Bell.  "Our office will be open every Tuesday and Thursday of every week from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to process eligibility.  This new process begins this week.  So Patients will need to call beforehand, arrange for an appointment to be seen, and work out out all eligibility issues before clinic nights.  This will take a bit of effort initially but will streamline the clinic nights and cut down on waiting time at the clinic."

"ECHO is excited about our new location and our new facilities and we want to assure our patients that the same quality health service and the same devoted people caring for them will be just as before," added Bell.  "The love of Christ will still be there and manifested through our hundred or so volunteers."
The new ECHO clinic sits adjacent to the recently opened ECHO Thrift Store at 4004 East Van Buren in the same building.   "We feel very good about this new building," Bell said.  "Since we started out with basically just one, big empty room, our new clinic was designed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of service to our patients.   We are certain that our patients, old and new, will love the new clinic.
"And next door, our thrift store is already proving to be most successful and will help in providing our clinic with money to operate.  What we need now are donations to pay for our new clinic's renovations and to make this new clinic complete with everything for which we have dreamed and prayed."

For more information, patient eligibility inquiries and patient appointments, one should contact the ECHO Clinic at 479-253-5547 any Tuesday or Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Mission Statement

Joyfully provide the best health care possible to individuals in need, so that all feel God's love through the experience.

Vision Statement

Establish & operate long term a faith-based, ecumenical free health clinic for those in need, staffed by volunteers, that brings glory to God and wins souls for Christ.
Matthew 28: 19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Our Logo

Did you know our logo is taken from Michelangelo's painting in the Sistine Chapel? The painting is from the creation and depicts the hand of God reaching out to the hand of Adam. Our rendition was created by local artist and nurse practitioner Cynthia Kresse.

          Limited Time Fund Raising Opportunity!!

ECHO Teams Up With Schwan’s Foods

Eureka Christian Health Outreach (ECHO) has teamed up with Schwan’s Home Food Service to help raise money for ECHO.

"What we are doing is encouraging those who buy groceries -which is most everyone- to buy them from Schwan’s. By doing so, a percentage of those sales goes directly to ECHO," explained Roger Lockhart, fund raising chairman for ECHO. The ECHO-Schwan's fundraiser is set for Saturday, September 12, on the Community First Bank’s parking lot from 10 a. m. to 4 p.m. However, consumers might help ECHO out before that day.

Schwan’s gift certificates ordered between now and September 11 using our campaign identification number will be added into our fundraising effort,. To order a gift certificate, call Schwan’s at 888-724-9267 using Option Four. You will also need to use the ECHO campaign i.d. number which is 23625. The gift certificates do not expire and can be used to pay for product delivered to anywhere Schwan’s operates.

Schwan’s can be located on the Internet at www.schwans.com
